{Real Wedding} Tara & Jorge

They say you should never mix business with pleasure, but when it came to do business with Tara and Jorge on their full wedding stationery suite, it was impossible for it to not be a pleasure. They were the ideal client to have! Clear on their general direction, while still allowing us creative control. After having her color theme already selected – coming up with the design and style for her custom chocolate brown and red rose colored invitations, favor tags, seating charts, and table names was the next step. Tara wanted swirls and bling, while Jorge wanted clean and simple. We compromised.

Clean and simple encrusted with a single Swarovski crystal in deep garnet red, over a chocolate brown satin ribbon. Yah, we’re thinking what you’re thinking; chocolate covered strawberries sounds good to us right about now too.

After the invitation design was complete – the rest of the wedding stationery tied in cohesively. We carried the custom monogram design from the invitation, to the diamond shaped embellished favor tag for her red candied apple favor.

And wait there’s more — they’ve been sweethearts since high school, and Jorge proposed to Tara at Disneyland! ♥ So, Tara requested the table numbers to include Disney characters of her choice. We then had to figure out how to incorporate the characters, the invitation theme, and the colors as chic as possible! 30 custom designed Disney characters later accompanied with swirls that Tara had initially told us she liked – we were all set to go, once blinged of course. {For a look at each individual Table Name/Number, please check out the thumbnails below or on our Collections page}

Last but not least, we also created two poster sized boards for her seating chart that mirrored the wedding invitation look. Instead of individual seating escort cards, these posters got the job done all while matching the decor and theme.
